Weekend study time. Going through 200 trades from the last 6 months. Pattern I found: 73% of my losing trades were taken during the first 15 minutes of market open. New rule: No entries in the first 15 minutes. Let the volatility settle, then trade the structure.

GBP/JPY scalp — London open trap and reverse. Price spiked to 196.80 (stop hunt above Asian high), then formed a strong bearish engulfing on 5M. Shorted from 196.65, target was 195.80. Hit in 45 minutes. Classic liquidity grab play.

Quick tip for new traders: Mark the previous day's High, Low, and Close on your chart every morning before you start. These three levels act as magnet for price throughout the day. Many intraday reversals and breakouts happen right at these levels.

Bank Nifty expiry day strategy — the 11:30am candle is statistically the most important candle of expiry day. Direction of this candle determines the afternoon trend 68% of the time in my 2-year data. Either trade the break of that candle or avoid expiry entirely.

Scalping GBP/JPY during London session has been my bread and butter this month. The pair moves 80-120 pips in the first 2 hours consistently. My setup: wait for the first 15-min candle to close, then trade the direction with a 20-pip SL and 40-pip target.
