Should I trade forex using MT4 or MT5?

My broker offers both MT4 and MT5. Which one is better for forex trading?

MT4 is still the industry standard with the largest library of EAs and indicators. MT5 offers more timeframes, more order types, and a built-in economic calendar.

For manual trading, MT5 is objectively better. For algo trading, MT4 has the larger ecosystem of existing EAs. Most serious traders I know have moved to MT5.
