What is the inside bar strategy and when does it work best?

Inside bars on lower timeframes (15min, 5min) produce too many false signals. Focus on daily chart inside bars — they represent a full day of indecision and the resulting breakout tends to have follow-through.

Inside bar = candle contained within the previous candle range. Represents consolidation. Breakout in either direction is the trade. Most reliable when: 1) After strong trend move, 2) At key S/R level, 3) On daily or 4H timeframe.
