NY session recap — EUR/USD trade today. Missed the initial London move but spotted a clean retest of the 1.0840 breakout level at 10:15 AM EST. Entered long on a 15m close above 1.0845. Set my stop at 1.0820 and target at 1.0880. Price chopped for 40 minutes then NY equity bulls pushed it up sharply. Hit my TP at 1.0880 right before the 11 AM consolidation. Result: +35 pips, roughly +1.3R. Clean execution. Lesson: Patience during the chop after entry is critical. I had two moments where I almost moved my stop up early out of nervousness. Keeping the original stop and trusting the level was the right call. Anyone else catch the EUR/USD continuation in the NY morning?
