NY Close Patterns: Do You Trade the Last Hour of the Session?

The last hour of the NY session (4–5 PM EST) is one of the most debated windows in forex. Some traders love it, most avoid it. Arguments for trading the NY close: - Position squaring creates predictable flow (often retracements) - Less news risk — most data is already priced in - Clear end-of-day levels visible on daily charts Arguments against: - Thin liquidity after 4 PM EST increases slippage - Spread widens on many pairs - Daily candle close can be manipulated by large players Personally, I've found the 3:30–4:00 PM EST window interesting for end-of-day momentum continuations when a strong trend is in place. But I stop trading after 4 PM — the risk/reward just isn't there. Do you trade the NY close session? What's your approach to end-of-day position management?
