How important is a trading journal?

Everyone says to keep a journal but I am not sure what to track. What do you include in your trading journal?

At minimum: entry price, SL, target, R:R, outcome, and why you took the trade. The "why" is most important.

I also screenshot my chart at entry and exit. Reviewing them weekly reveals patterns I would never notice otherwise.
