Volume spikes at key levels often mark reversals — institutions are filling large orders there. Watch for volume climax patterns at extremes.

Rising price + rising volume = strong trend, likely to continue. Rising price + falling volume = weak trend, potential reversal coming. High volume on breakout = confirmation. Low volume on breakout = likely false breakout.
