How do I stop revenge trading after a loss?

The problem is emotional: you are trading to recover money, not because there is a good setup. Ask yourself before every trade: "Would I take this trade if I had not just lost money?" If no, walk away.

The urge to revenge trade is normal but destructive. Set a rule: after any loss above X amount, you must take a 30-minute break before the next trade. No exceptions.
