How do I handle a situation when my stop gets hunted?

I often get stopped out and then the market moves in my original direction. How do I deal with stop hunting?

This is market manipulation around obvious stop levels (round numbers, recent highs/lows, swing points). Solution: place stops slightly beyond these obvious levels, not at them.

Add ATR buffer to your stops. If your logical stop is at a swing low, place it 0.5-1 ATR below that level. This avoids the spike that hunts obvious stops while keeping your original trade idea intact.
