Asian session — NZD/USD range trade recap. Set up my range lines at the start of the Tokyo session: high 0.6025, low 0.5995. Classic 30-pip Asian range on a quiet macro night. Waited for a touch of the 0.6025 top — price hit it at 02:15 GMT with a clear pin bar rejection. Entered short at 0.6020 with a 15-pip stop and target at the range midpoint 0.6010, then range bottom 0.5998. Price drifted back to midpoint in 90 minutes and I closed half at 0.6010. Moved stop to breakeven on the rest. Price hit the bottom at 0.5998 by 05:30 GMT. Result: +10 pips on half, +22 pips on the other. Clean execution. Lesson: The patience required for Asian session trades is different — slower pace, more waiting. But when the level holds, the follow-through is steady. Do you find Asian session trades easier to manage psychologically because of the slower pace?
